1. Professional Use Only

Cyber Guardian Security is designed to help you manage, inspect, and analyze your browser environment safely and professionally. You can:

• Monitor your browser tabs, network requests, and downloads.
• Analyze cookies, site permissions, and memory usage for optimization.
• Manage passwords securely and generate strong credentials.
• Use tools like CGS Terminal, Secure Notepad, and Password Generator for personal projects or educational purposes.

This extension is not designed or capable of unauthorized access to any systems, websites, or data outside your own device. All operations are performed locally.

2. No Data Collection

Cyber Guardian Security Chrome Extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your privacy is our top priority, and all features operate entirely on your device.

3. Extension Permissions

The extension requests permissions to provide its features. All operations are local, and no data is sent externally:

• management: Organize installed extensions locally.
• storage / unlimitedStorage: Store settings, preferences, encrypted notes, passwords, and temporary caches locally.
• bookmarks: Manage and access browser bookmarks locally.
• history: Analyze browsing history locally for downloads, site permissions, and security tools.
• scripting: Execute scripts for Website Blocker, Website Locker, or Network Inspector locally.
• tabs / activeTab: Access tabs for monitoring, management, and inspection.
• cookies: View, edit, or delete cookies stored in your browser.
• webNavigation: Monitor navigation events locally for Website Blocker or Network Inspector.
• webRequest: Intercept web requests locally to manage site access.
• downloads / downloads.open: Access downloaded files for the Downloads History feature.
• windows: Manage browser windows for tools such as CGS Terminal, Secure Notepad, and Password Manager.

4. Security Responsibilities

• Cyber Guardian Security enhances your browser experience but does not guarantee complete security.
• You are responsible for using the extension responsibly on your own device.
• The developers are not liable for damages caused by improper use or misunderstanding of the features.

5. Prohibited Actions & Intellectual Property

You may not:

• Attempt to save, modify, or reverse-engineer the extension's algorithms for malicious purposes.
• Redistribute copies of the extension or any “fake” versions online.
• Use the extension’s source code, icons, images, or branding without explicit permission.
• Remove or alter copyright notices or disclaimers within the extension.
